Flu Shot Information

Dear Parents,
As you may have read in the news, flu season started early in many parts of the country and some states are seeing a lot of flu illness. Flu disease levels in California continue to increase and we encourage anyone 6 months and older to get vaccinated. As long as flu disease is around, it is not too late to get vaccinated.

Our weekly public health immunization clinics continue to offer reduced cost/free vaccine to anyone 6 months and up. Clinic locations and times are here: http://cchealth.org/immunization/clinics.php

Also, the "Shoo the Flu" campaign has been extended through January 2013. Children 4 years through 18 years of age can get free flu vaccine from any Bay Area Target pharmacy. Over 1,500 Bay Area children have received free flu vaccine through this offer so far. For more info, please visit: www.Shootheflu.org <http://www.shootheflu.org/>

Thank you for your assistance in keeping our community healthy.
I wish you and your family a healthy and flu-free 2013!
